A story that began with a dream.
Sonare was born from a personal experience of its founder and CEO, Hellen. Needing a wedding planner for her own wedding sparked a passion for event planning and for turning dreams into real experiences.
What began as a personal need became a passion and, later, a mission: to help others live their most important moments with calm, confidence and the certainty that every detail is being looked after.
Founded in 2025 in Maputo, Mozambique, Sonare Events & Planning was built with love, dedication and the wish to offer quality service.

What sets us apart
Founded by a bride
Sonare began when Hellen needed a wedding planner for her own wedding. We plan every event from the side of the people celebrating it.
A written running order
The day is written out hour by hour, with who does what. That document is what the team follows during the event.
Briefing before doors open
The team meets on site before guests arrive to review timings, seating and each person's role.
An identifiable team
Coordinators, bartenders and waiting staff wear Sonare uniforms, so guests and suppliers always know who to ask.
One contact, start to finish
You always speak to the same person, by phone or WhatsApp, and follow the preparations without coordinating suppliers.
Book only what you need
You can request just the ceremony, the bar or the waiting staff. Every proposal is built by service.
